Anne Bigley
Attorney
Anne Bigley is an attorney at Vanaman German LLP. Anne represents parents who are seeking appropriate educational placements and/or eligibility and services for their children from school districts and Regional Centers in California. As a mother of three children, Anne is personally familiar with the special education process from start to finish, as well as the eligibility process and available services through California Regional Centers.
Anne is a graduate of Southwestern University School of Law and the University of California, Irvine. She practiced general civil litigation in Los Angeles for over a decade until the needs of her young son with significant physical, visual, and speech disabilities demanded more of her attention. During her son’s younger years, Anne became personally acquainted with special education and disability law and assisted many friends and fellow parents of children with disabilities with their special education and disability related legal needs. As a former client of Vanaman German, she ultimately decided to continue practicing in this area with the same attorneys who helped her family successfully navigate her son’s educational journey.
Anne is a member of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA) and is a founding member of a Special Needs Outreach Committee in Pasadena that was inspired by her son in 2014. She has also served on the Board of Directors of ConductAbility, Inc., a nonprofit organization serving the comprehensive needs of those with neuromuscular impairments, since 2019. Anne has received various awards from her community over the past several years for her dedication to and assistance of those with special needs.
Anne has been an active participant and supporter in her children’s schools and therapies, serving in many capacities and speaking publicly on behalf of organizations such as The Blind Children’s Center, Neurological and Physical Abilitation Center (NAPA), Ride On Therapeutic Horsemanship, and ConductAbility, Inc. She enjoys providing legal representation and assistance to the special needs community. Aside from her family and work, she enjoys running, walking her dog, and drinking Matcha Tea Lattes. She is fluent in Spanish.
