Newman Aaronson Vanaman is now Vanaman German LLP

Celebrating 40 years in business

Los Angeles – Newman Aaronson Vanaman, a premier California law firm for special educational law, has changed its name to Vanaman German LLP effective January 1, 2021.  Valerie Vanaman and David German will lead the boutique law firm.  The firm, which opened in 1981 will continue to build on its strong reputation for representing families throughout California whose children struggle to receive access to educational programs and other benefits.

“Our firm and our services will not change. But with a new year, comes a new name, logo and website that offers an updated look that communicates our passion for our practice,” says Vanaman. “Our attorneys, paralegals, and support staff remain actively involved in a variety of forums as they seek to improve the services children and adults with disabilities receive.”

Vanaman German’s offices, when they are safe to open, will remain at 14001 Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks, and continue to provide in person access to lawyers with experience in special education law, conservatorships, regional center experience, and estate planning counsel. During COVID, the firm is providing online and video appointments.

“Our clients have faced extraordinary challenged during the pandemic,” says German, “All of our attorneys are focused on doing everything possible to help remedy the tragic loss of educational opportunity that many of our clients have experienced during the past year.  We are more committed than ever to our mission of advocating for students with disabilities throughout California.”
