The California Legislature passed legislation in mid-July requiring that school district’s implement distance learning for students who continued to require it for the 2021-2022 school year through independent study programs.  The timing of this legislative change has created enormous stress and uncertainty for both families and districts.  Below are links to Know Your Rights documents created by reputable organizations.  As districts’ attempts to implement the law are rapidly evolving, we will be updating these links frequently.
